Uttaranchal (Uttarakhand) is a state of natural beauty is carved out of Uttar Pradesh and formed as the 27th state of the Indian Union bordered by Tibet to the north, Nepal to the east, and the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh in the west and south respectively.
