DAY 01 Moscow :

Arrival to Moscow. Transfer from the airport to the hotel with an English speaking guide. Check-in at the Hotel
Boat ride along the Moscow river (not a private boat) -Travelling by boat along the Moscow River became the business card of the city during the last several years. Only 1,5 hours you need to get the great emotions from the sightseeing of the historical centre of the capital of Russia, and which is more actual - avoiding traffic jams. It is also a chance to see in an unusual way the traditional appearance of Moscow and its attractions.

Moscow river. The city is named after the river. The origin of the name is unknown, although several theories exist. One theory suggests that the source of the name is an ancient Finniclanguage, in which it means "marshy place, dark waters, gnat". Alternatively, the name may come from the Mordvinian language, meaning "bear-river". Similar meaning is in Mari language where moská denotes "bear" whereas Mariword ava implies "mother".
Dinner at the Indian Restaurant.
Overnight at a hotel.

DAY 02 Maacow:

Breakfast at the hotel. Moscow city-tour. Moscow is the capital of the Russian Federation and represents a unique complex of old architecture masterpieces and modern hightech buildings. The historical centre of Moscow, Kremlin and its cathedrals, monasteries, impressive fortresses and amazing palaces demonstrates the authentic culture and art of the late Middle Ages in Russia. If you want to discover the fascinating history of old Moscow and admire its' most beautiful sights, you're welcome to join our city-tour.
Visit of Kremlin and Cathedrals on the Red Square - A unique complex of architectural monuments, Kremlin is surrounded by ancient red brick walls crowned with 20 towers. Built by Prince Yuri Dolgoruky in 1156 it was destryed and rebuilt several times. The existing Kremlin walls and towers were built in the 15th century by Italian Renaissance architects. The nowadays Kremlin represents some of the best examples of Russian church and secular architecture of 15th-16th centuries, like the Ivan III's Palace of Facets (1491), the exquisite onedomed Church of the Deposition of the Virgin's Robe, the Bell tower of Ivan the Great and the Spasskaya Tower, the Armoury Chamber and the Diamond Fund and the Patriarch’s Palace. The Moscow Kremlin is also famous for the curious couple of the Tsar Bell and the Tsar Cannon designed for amusement of Russian Tsars..
Moscow Circus Visit. Dinner at the Indian Restaurant. Guide services during 10.00 - 22.00. Bus services during 10.00 – 22.00. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03

Breakfast at the hotel. Metro Visit. The first plans for a metro system in Moscow date back to the Russian Empire but were postponed by World War I, the October Revolution and the Russian Civil War. In 1923, the Moscow City Council formed the Underground Railway Design Office at the Moscow Board of Urban Railways. It carried out preliminary studies, and by 1928 had developed a project for the first route from Sokolniki to the city centre. At the same time, an offer was made to German company Siemens Bauunion to submit its own project for the same route. In June 1931, the decision to begin construction of the Moscow Metro was made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. In January 1932 the plan for the first lines was approved, and on March 21, 1933 the Soviet government approved a plan for 10 lines with a total route length of 80 km.
The first lines were built using the Moscow general plan designed by Lazar Kaganovich in the 1930s, and the Metro was named after him until 1955 named after him (Metropolitan im. L.M. Kaganovicha). The Moscow Metro construction engineers consulted with their counterparts from the London Underground, the world's oldest metro system. Partly because of this connection, the design of Gants Hill tube station (although not completed until much later) is reminiscent of a Moscow Metro Station.

DAY 04 Moscow-Suzdal

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel.
Departure from the hotel with the luggage to Suzdal.
Arrival to Suzdal. Check-in at the hotel.
City tour in Suzdal - the history of the town dates back to at least the year 1024. It is called Sursdalar or Sudrdala (the southern valley) in the Norse Sagas - which probably also is the origin of the town's name. For centuries it functioned as the capital of several Russian principalities. It forms part of the Golden Ring. It was granted city status in 1777. After a decline in political importance, the town rose in prominence as a religious center with numerous monasteries and a remarkable ratio of churches to citizens: at one point, forty churches for four hundred families. Today, the town operates as an important tourist center, featuring many fine examples of old Russian architecture — most of them churches and monasteries. Walking through the town one might get the feeling that every third building is a church. Although having over ten thousand residents, Suzdal still retains the look and feel of a small village with streams and meadows everywhere nearby, and chicken and livestock a common sight on the city streets, some of which are unpaved. This juxtaposition of stunning medieval architecture with its pastoral setting lends Suzdal a picturesque charm, and in the summer artists and easels are a common sight..

DAY 06 St. Petersburg:
Visit of Petrodvorets (palace and park) The spectacular Peterhof Palace is located on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland, 34 kilometers from St.Petersburg. Set in magnificent gardens, Peterhof is reminiscent of Versailles and was only used by royal family on special occasions of State importance. The Grand Palace, built for Peter I, enlarged by Rastrelli for Empress Elizabeth and later remodeled for Catherine the Great, was almost completely destroyed by the Nazis in the World War II, but was restored later to its full splendour. The pendulous chandeliers, paintings, china dinner sets are originals; as they were fortunately removed before the German occupation. The gardens are dotted with the fountains, charming pavilions and summerhouses, including the Monplaisir, Peter’s original.
villa with bright and airy galleries facing the sea, and the self-contained and moated Hermitage, Imperial Bath house pavilion.

DAY 07 St. Petersburg:
Breakfast at the hotel.
City Tour and visit to the Hermitage on the Palace Square.
It’s impossible to imagine a trip to Saint-Petersburg without a visit to one of the best known museums all over the world – the State Hermitage. Its pricelesscollection occupies 5 historical buildings of which the Winter Palace – the former residence of the Russian Royal family – is the most remarkable. Its rooms, decorated with marble and gold, provide a fine background for the treasures of Hermitage. You might be surprised to know that the collection of this unique museum contains over 3 million exhibits including the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael and other famous artists. The collection of impressionists’ works of Degas, Cezanne, Renoir, Matisse and Van Gogh is the pride of Hermitage, however the collections of the Egyptian, Oriental and Ancient Greek art should not be missed either. Take your chance to admire the world’s largest collection of the Scythian gold! Hermitage attracts millions of visitors each year and we hope you to be among them.
